Emily Smith, Thayer Academy- My goals in hockey have remained consistent; to compete and be successful playing at the highest level possible. What I bring to the rink is a desire to win every time I step on the ice. Win as a team, lose as a team. I love the game, it's that simple. I will play hard for my team. I know scoring goals isn't easy at this level, they come and go, my job on the ice is simple; keep my team in a position to win! I consider myself an aggressive and vocal goalie, with a competent glove and blocker. You could consider me a hybrid. I prefer to move in the crease in a fluid motion following the play of the game, and use butterfly style when needed. My current teams: Thayer Academy, Baystate Breakers tier 1 U19, and the South Shore Eagle Midgets.
